Antique Persian Tabriz Rug 9'6 x 13'6. Among the most classical of the revival period Tabriz carpet designs is that of the garden design pattern. This divides the field into small panels each with a garden motif: trees shrubs animals. The trees include cypress weeping willow plane and flowered plum. Animals include goats and sheep. The four sections are divided by crossing bands which repeat a carpet in miniature. More cypresses and flowering trees fill the border. This carpet is a modern interpretation of a classic Persian pattern whose origin lies in the early 17th century.

Vacuum your rug frequently and use a vacuum which uses suction and does not have bristles. If possible, set vacuum to low power setting and vacuum the rug up and down and do not use a back-and-forth motion.
If possible, rotate the rug every few years to allow foot traffic to be spread evenly and shade the rug from direct sunlight to avoid fading in areas.
A rug pad is recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping and stop marking if on floors with grooves or lines. Professional cleaning is recommended every two or three years.
